Mental Health Resources
Is Mental Health Impacting Your Teen?
Your student’s school of record (public education partner) can help you if your student is struggling with mental health challenges.
If you are concerned about your student’s mental health and its impact on their Williamsburg classes, please contact Ross Gilbert, our Headmaster, or your student’s mentors directly. You can find mentor contact info in SIS.
Additionally, please see this Mental Wellness document for resources and tips.
Forms & Waivers
-
Absence Request Form
Is your student going to be absent due to a planned trip or adventure?
Please complete the Williamsburg Learning Absence Form if your student(s) plan to be absent for three or more consecutive days. Please submit this form at least one week prior to the planned absence (preferably one month in advance). We will notify all your students’ mentors of the upcoming absence.
3-Step Parent Support Plan
Watch these short Williamsburg videos to learn a simple weekly plan you can use to skyrocket your student's success this year—90% of students who tried this during our pilot year (2023-24) got straight A's, and the rest came very close!
Or, see our Parent Video Library for a condensed version.
School Sponsored Activities
Williamsburg Academy hosts online student activities throughout the school year. Details about these activities can be found in Homeroom.
Additionally, Williamsburg Learning's partner schools sometimes host activities that are open to Williamsburg Academy students. Information about these activities will be posted in the Williamsburg Parent Update as they come up.
