FAQs
-
What are the benefits of registering my student full-time?
Results show that full-time students who enroll in the Williamsburg program (taking four or more courses) achieve higher grades, develop vital time management skills, and make deeper social connections with their peers and mentors. They also outperform their peers on ACT/SAT exams and are better equipped for life as adults after graduation.
-
Do courses cost less if I choose the full-time package?
Yes. Our full-time package includes more than a 10% discount off our normal fees for individual courses.
-
What is the New Hampshire Education Freedom Account program?
The New Hampshire Education Freedom Account (EFA) program, established in 2021, empowers families to customize their children's education by allocating state funds toward various educational expenses. Administered by the Children's Scholarship Fund New Hampshire (CSFNH), the program is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible students, enabling them to pursue educational opportunities beyond the traditional public school system. The EFA redirects a portion of the state's per-pupil education adequacy grants to individual accounts for eligible students.
-
What is Children’s Scholarship Fund New Hampshire?
The Children’s Scholarship Fund New Hampshire (CSFNH) is the designated scholarship organization responsible for overseeing the EFA program. Its duties include processing applications, verifying eligibility, and managing the distribution of funds. To facilitate transactions, CSFNH collaborates with ClassWallet, an online platform that enables parents to access and allocate EFA funds directly to approved educational service providers.
-
When do I need to apply for my state’s funding program?
Applications for the 2025-26 school year will be available in March 2025. Families are encouraged to apply early to receive funding.
Priority Deadline: To receive the full EFA grant for the upcoming school year, applications and the verification process must be completed by July 15, 2025. Applications submitted after this period may result in prorated funding.
-
How much funding could my child qualify for?
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the base grant is approximately $3,700 per student. Additional "differentiated aid" is available for students who meet specific criteria, such as eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch, English Language Learners, or those with identified disabilities. This supplementary aid can increase the total grant by an estimated $600 to $1,800, depending on the student's circumstances.
-
Is testing required?
At Williamsburg, all students, including those using ESA funds, take the STAR assessment. These assessments help us provide the best academic support tailored to their needs.
If your state requires norm-referenced testing, the STAR assessment will satisfy that requirement.
-
When will I be billed, and how does it work?
When enrolling for the upcoming school year, you won’t be billed until July 15! You’ll receive four quarterly bills, carefully timed to align with your state’s funding dates—so you’ll never have to pay out of pocket!
For the All-Inclusive Package: You will receive your first quarterly invoice of $1500 for your student’s tuition on or after July 15.
For Individual Courses: You’ll receive your first invoice for your student’s tuition on or after July 15. The total will vary based on the number and types of courses you select. To estimate your invoice, simply divide your child’s tuition total by four.
