Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can I get into a Division I or Division II school by attending Williamsburg Academy of Colorado?
Yes! Since we are NCAA-accredited, your high school student can work towards Division I or II eligibility by attending our live-online or self-paced core classes. However, please note that in addition to completing our NCAA-approved courses, students must also fulfill any other eligibility requirements as outlined by the NCAA. See these pages for the full requirements for Division I and Division II .
Note: Admission to Division I and Division II schools is competitive, and while meeting the eligibility requirements gives your student the best shot, it is not a guarantee that your student will get in.
-
What is the process for gaining NCAA eligibility?
To compete at a Division I or Division II school, students need to create an account at the NCAA Eligibility Center (preferably during their sophomore or junior year, although this can be done earlier or later). From there, students need to fulfill the requirements for their chosen division, as linked above.
