Registration in a Nutshell

Once your student's application is approved, you'll complete our Intake Form to select their classes. We'll take it from there and get them registered!

Use the info on this page to explore class offerings and what we recommend by grade for middle school.

Williamsburg Online Courses

Online (Live & Self-Paced)

Offered in partnership with Williamsburg Learning, our online classes are available in two formats:

  • Live – Best for engaging, interactive discussions with mentors and classmates
  • Self-Paced – Ideal for students needing a more flexible schedule

Williamsburg Adventures

In-Person Adventures

We have two unique Adventures courses to choose from with a Flex schedule in some locations:

  • Outdoor Adventures (Fall) – Includes activities like hiking, rock climbing, rowing, and more to increase confidence and grit
  • Leadership Adventures (Winter) – Includes activities like service projects, simulations, museum trips, and more to foster leadership skills

Our popular Adventures Courses come in two versions: Outdoor Adventures (offered in the fall semester) and Leadership Adventures (offered in winter semester):

  • Outdoor Adventures includes activities like hiking, rock climbing, rowing, and more to increase students’ confidence and grit.
  • Leadership Adventures includes activities like service projects, simulations, museum trips, and more to foster students’ leadership skills.

Things to Note About Live Courses

Live online classes are 50 minutes on M/W or T/Th except for Math, which is M-Th.

Fridays are for In-Person Adventures and studying. There are no live classes on Fridays.

All live online classes are held in Mountain Time, and we observe Daylight Savings.

All class times, mentors, and other course details are subject to change depending on enrollment.

You can view more details, including mentors for each live section in the Williamsburg Course Schedules document. While this document can be helpful for planning your student's preferred classes, only SIS has the most up-to-date info about seats available.

Review Your Student's Schedule

Once your student's application is approved, you'll fill out a form to select their courses and we'll register them. When complete, you'll be able to view their schedule in SIS.
